One of my favorite pocket knives, and one that has served me the longest, is my Emerson CQC-7AW. The 154CM steel hones to a fine v-grind edge on the drop point blade. The G10 scales cover titanium liners to make a strong, yet ergonomic, grip. Emerson‘s signature “wave” opening mechanism is the fastest unassisted deploy I’ve yet found in a folder. And the Emerson CQC-7AW’s stone wash finish makes a great knife look good, too. What’re your favorite EDC blades?

Yeah but can it slice and dice like that bowie you have?
JoeFabeetz We all know what the important question is: will it blend?
:p
Nice knife, I like the wave feature.
I like my microtech OTF auto but my EDC knife is a Protech Godfather. That Emerson looks like a sweet blade.
Best folder reviews ever. Always appreciative of your work. I love my Byrd stainless. It has the clip and blade pointing in the same direction and works as a cigar clipper once in a blood moon or so. We all went to the Navy Seal museum over in FT Pierce, FL. recently. Yup a day of reverence no doubt. Anyway take care of yourself and all the best in everything you do. Sincerely Fritz
