The left talks a lot about criminal justice reform. During the 2020 George Floyd riots, we even had a sizeable portion of the left calling for defunding the police and not punishing criminals as strongly.
They said it was racist. They said jail didn’t help offenders. They said we needed social workers, counselors, and jobs to get violent criminals and addicts up on their feet and doing well again.
Despite “defund the police” crashing and burning as a policy reality, the idea of reducing bail and letting criminals, addicts, and insane people out on the streets has picked up steam.
Democrats have found it’s a useful way to pretend to be compassionate and score votes from people who live in gated communities and don’t have to deal with the truth about soft-on-crime.
However, as a recent case from Orange County, Florida shows, these low bail policies can hurt anyone, anywhere.
Road Rage Shooter Gets Out on $355 Bail
Emanuel Bullard is a 19-year-old man from Orange County, Florida.
He has a serious road rage problem and a nasty habit of trying to kill people when they piss him off on the road. In fact, he’s shot at other drivers four times in just the last two months. Unsurprisingly, these actions led the young black man to be put in jail.
However, thanks to the lax bail laws put through by our nation’s far left, Bullard got out of jail only a few days later. The amount he had to post: only $355.00
That’s apparently the price of attempted murder these days in America if you’re a young criminal without much money. Now this psychotic road rage freak is back out on the road because the Democrats think it’s not fair to require high bail for poor people.
Do you feel safe yet?

A History of Rampant Road Rage
Bullard’s violent road rage incidents caught police attention near the end of last year when he shot at various drivers on the freeway after getting frustrated with their driving.
During his first time in court now in mid-February, he was hit with a relatively small bond amount of only $3,550. This required Bullard to post $355 (10%) of the amount in order to secure his release as he awaits trial.
In other words, Bullard is walking around a free man for now, despite opening up on four different drivers who ticked him off. Florida has around 2.5 million carry permits among its residents, so Bullard is also lucky he doesn’t have some holes in him.
He definitely deserves it after randomly firing at other motorists.

The Streets Aren’t Safe
Welcome to Democrat America. The streets are literally unsafe, even in your car. If you don’t get carjacked, you run the risk of some psychopath out on bail trying to take your head off for cutting him off in traffic.
Absolutely outrageous, yet the left still tells us legal gun owners who commit no crimes are the problem? Why don’t we clean up the criminals and keep them behind bars first? Then, we’ll talk.
