Guns are back, baby. The Second Amendment is back in style as our cities get more dangerous and our politicians get even more corrupt.
Americans don’t want words, they want weapons…and they want to exercise their God-given right to bear arms! That’s why we’re taking a year-end look at the top five gun trends of this year.
5. Self-Defense is Back In
The Kyle Rittenhouse trial in Kenosha, Wisconsin showed us self-defense is back in. As tragic as the events of last summer were (when Rittenhouse killed two leftist extremists and injured a third), they were also the inevitable outcome of liberal policies.
When you say violent rioters are “mostly peaceful,” you open the gates of hell. Rittenhouse had to make a choice nobody should have to make. His acquittal shows gun rights are entering a new era of respect in the United States.
It’s about time!
4. Arms Companies Are Turning Red
As we’ve documented here at The Arms Guide, various gun companies are packing up shop and heading out of blue states and into red states. This includes iconic gunsmiths like Smith & Wesson, who are moving their headquarters from Massachusetts (Taxachusetts) to Tennessee.
You can also take a look at Remington firearms, for example, which moved from New York to Lagrange, Georgia.
These gun companies know what’s up; they’re not interested in being in gun-grabbing, high-taxing blue states anymore.
3. America is Arming Up
2021 saw a record number of people buy guns for the first time.
This continues the trend from 2020. America is arming up. Starting in 2019, people decided they were done listening to big government lies. They went and armed themselves.
Specifically, over four million men bought guns for the first time from January 2019 to April of 2021, and 3.5 million women as well. That’s a lot of women deciding to arms themselves.
That’s a lot of Americans arming up! Good news!

2. Gun Grabs Are Failing
From New Jersey to the federal level, gun grabs are failing.
An attempt to hide red flag laws and take guns from veterans recently got struck down in the Senate after Senator Chuck Grassley caught wind of it. Despite RINOs like Dan Crenshaw secretly trying to chip away at gun rights, people and their representatives aren’t falling for it.
1. 2A is Non-Negotiable
The biggest and best trend of 2021 is that gun rights and 2A are non-negotiable.
The storm of first time buyers, combined with a shifting narrative, is making it harder and harder for leftist lies to get purchase among the population. People see criminals have guns.
They see politicians and rich people have armed guards; people ask why they shouldn’t have the same right. They’re entirely correct. Thank God we live in the United States of America where we do have that right.
First-time gun buyers are set to top 8,000,000 in 2020.
It’s great to see so many patriotic Americans exercising their Second Amendment rights!
