Affordable and well made plate armor carriers are getting hard to find and finding one from a reputable company at a good price point can get difficult at best. What are you suppose to do if you are a security contractor or a law enforcement official who has to purchase his now gear? A plate carrier with plates often times runs upwards of $700-$800, thats a lot of money for anyone to drop even if it can save your life. Well , Mayflower and Velocity Systems has teamed up to make an affordable and well made plate carrier specifically marketed to law enforcement officers and people on a limited budget.

Our friends at Spotter Up Tactical got a chance to take a look at this new rig and put it threw its paces. The new plate carrier has a name thats really easy to remember, its called the Mayflower/Velocity Systems Law Enforcement Plate Carrier or LEPC for short. The manufacturers suggested retail starts at $200, thats an incredible deal for sure. A link to our friends at Spotter Up Tactical’s full review is below.
