While filming for the Speed Ledge review I shared yesterday, I captured this neat shot using the Sony NEX FS700 camera. The footage from which I snagged this image was captured at 960 frames per second. Not fast enough to watch the projectile travel (many rounds generate muzzle velocities in excess of 1,500 feet per second—over 1,000 miles per hour). What do you think, did I manage to capture the bullet in flight, or is it just a neat-looking effect of the gases just in front of the barrel glowing?
P.S. Happy Friday the 13th.

Whatever you caught, lovin’ that new camera.
Yup looks like a rocket shaped object traveling on a horizontal plane in a hurry. Faster than a speeding built ? Evidently not so it must be Wonder Woman to the rescue. Jason has no chance at all.
Hmm I might have onymoroned myself in the faster than a speeding bullet statement therefore validating Des as Superman
Remember to Always carry…..a 500 Magnum, Jason is one tough SOB.
For me, it’s the gases. And, this video and the last ones make me very happy, because you’re coming back to your classic days and you look far more happy and free doing it.
