New Benchmade Knives for 2014

New Benchmade Knives for 2014 - TheArmsGuide.com

March 5, 2014 by Kevin 3 Comments

Benchmade has a surprising number of new blades releasing for 2014. During SHOT Show 2014, I stopped in to their booth to check out a few.

Benchmade has heard the demand for products for bushcrafters and outdoorsman. They responded this year with an all-new lineup of knives:Benchmade Hunt. With the needs of outdoorsman in mind, Benchmade designed the Hunt line to feature durable, corrosion resistant blades, that would hold an edge without a need for frequent re-sharpening. The knives in this lineup have handles of either G10, or Benchmade’s composite “Dymondwood.” It has the look and feel of wood without the drawbacks (like absorbing water and swelling). These knives are offered with high quality S30V steel blades in either fixed blade or lockback folding blades.

In addition to the new blades, Benchmade has revamped some of their existing product line with new knives, and new features. For example, they re-integrated their Axis locking mechanism into their HK blades with the HK 14715 Axis. Another changeup Benchmade rolled out for 2014 is the fixed blade version of their popular Contego folder.

Really gorgeous knifes. Your coverage of SHOT was the best of all. I like the coverage all the others Youtubers on the past years. But your coverage is always special.

These are some very beautiful benchmade knives. They would be perfect to add to my husband and I’s knife collection. We collect all kinds of knives, but we really like benchmade knives specifically. There is just something about them that makes them stand out more than the rest of them.
