The Nighthawk Custom AAC 1911: 1911 Excellence

I was thrilled to get the chance to burn up some .45 ACP through the Nighthawk Custom AAC 1911 recently… all I have to say is “wow.” I was already an aficionado of 1911 style firearms, but this gun’s range performance made me dearly wish I had a spare three and a third grand. It shoots like a dream.

I would love one, it’s high on the wish list. The only chance I have of getting my hands on one is to dress in a denim mini and cowboy boots and start a youtube channel…….;o)

What a beautiful pistol. I love the 1911 platform, especially a high end model like this.

Absolutely on the “wish list.” JMB’s 1911 rings true still to this day (fits my hands like a glove)!

I’m not a huge fan of 1911’s but…that piece is a beauty!  I’m jealous you got to shoot one.  I’ve never so much as SEEN one in person.  Lol.

Just got back from the range shooting a Field Pistol match with my Kimber .45.  Yeah – I’m a convert to 1911’s as well.  You sure get the best guns to try out.

Hey Destinee, did you notice any big differences performance wise compared to your Kimber?

Shoot to hit Oh yes. Less perceived recoil, and improved accuracy over my Kimber. But, my Kimber’s about a third the price ._.

FateofDestineeShoot to hit Those Nighthawks sure are nice, but a little pricey, no make that way
pricey! I’m sure that they are worth every dime, but for now I’ll have
to make do with my Kimber Desert Warrior. My Desert Warrior is the
smoothest shooting pistol I’ve ever shot, so I can only imagine what
that Nighthawk was like.  One day I’ll find out though!
