Feast your eyes on the SIG MPX.
SIG sure knows how to make a good-looking firearm, but the MPX really takes the cake.
The SIG MPX is a semi-auto closed bolt, gas-operated piston pistol caliber sub-machine gun. This particular version is the MPX-C, which means it is the “carbine” version as it has a fixed 9.5″ muzzle brake that brings the overall barrel length to 16″. However, if you’re willing to pay for the tax stamp and await approval, you can also purchase a sleeve that affixes to the outside of that unique muzzle brake that completes a suppressor.
The SIG MPX is offered in multiple calibers, including 9x19mm, .357 SIG, and .40 S&W. Regardless of original caliber configuration, operators can change the weapon system’s chambering by turning a screw and switching barrels and magazines. The mags for each caliber are offered in 10, 20, or 30 round capacity.
This beauty is offered in carbine configuration with either a side-folding or 3-position telescoping buttstock, or in pistol configuration (without a stock). All iterations will have familiar operation for AR shooters as the controls of the MPX are AR-style.
