The horrific murder of Kate Steinle was one of the rallying cries of Donald Trump’s successful run for president in 2016. During the primaries and the general campaign after accepting the GOP nomination, Trump emphasized the horror and suffering of Steinle’s death at the hands of an illegal immigrant.
Steinle was shot down and killed for no reason on San Francisco’s Pier 14 while walking with her dad. The murderer was an illegal immigrant Mexican by the name of Jose Zarate.
He’d already been deported multiple times, but was back in the United States when he killed Steinle, apparently by mistake. Now, big news has dropped about Zarate’s case.
Steinle’s Illegal Alien Killer Gets Time Served
Steinle was shot by Zarate on Pier 14 after he says he found a handgun lying on the ground and picked it up, firing it at Steinle, and fatally wounding her. Zarate claims he never intended to fire the gun and it went off by mistake.
The gun was reportedly wrapped inside a T-shirt, which is why Zarate says he didn’t even know it was a gun. The gun went off before striking the ground and bouncing off where it hit Steinle fatally.
He was found not guilty of murder in 2017 regarding the tragic 2015 death, but went to jail on other charges related to his immigration status and illegal possession of a firearm.
Judge Vince Chhabria sentenced Zarate on Monday, saying the seven years he’s spent in jail since her death is adequate as “time served.” Of course, nobody asked Steinle’s family if it was adequate.
Nothing will bring their daughter back, nor will it change the sanctuary laws that encouraged psychopaths like Zarate to walk around and harm others with impunity in a country they’re not even legally allowed to be in.
SANCTUARY CITIES 🤬 ARE BS
7-time felon, 5-time deported illegal acquitted of killing Kate Steinle in 2015 is sentenced to time-served
💥He admitted he killed Kate—said he chose SF bc it was a SANCTUARY CITY THAT SHIELDS ILLEGALS FROM ARREST & DEPORTATION

Zarate Pleads Guilty to Firearm Offence
After pleading guilty to having a gun illegally, and being in the country illegally while having a gun, a few months ago, Zarate finally got to sentencing this Monday. Judge Chhabria told him this was his last chance not to be punished even worse if he comes back.
Saying it was Zarate’s “last warning,” Chhabria told him not to come back to America again. He also spoke angrily about the inadequacy of help Zarate received for his mental illness. Zarate suffers from schizophrenia and has psychological delusions and hallucinations.
Zarate now heads to Texas where he’ll face charges for breaking immigration law. He was already deported multiple times from the US when he came back and shot Steinle in some sort of deluded state.
Prior to murdering Steinle, Zarate was in San Francisco to face a charge for possession of marijuana, a drug with a well-known history of causing schizophrenia and mental illness.
He could have gotten up to 10 years on the firearm charge, which means he’d have another three years behind bars, given his seven years already served. Prosecutors accepted the deal of time served.
1 year for murdering an American? At least he got more time than Kate Steinle's murderer. Nobody is protecting your communities. Not judges. Not politicians. Not police. It is up to YOU. Volunteer. Donate. Do SOMETHING.https://t.co/nZJP5rSsvK
