Another day and another plan by the radical left to strip away our 2A rights.
It gets repetitive to say, but the price of protecting our God-given rights in this day and age is to consistently point out the schemes and agendas of the extremists in our nation, as they work to dismantle our Constitution.
At this time, they are moving full steam ahead with the appointment of a new head of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF), as well as restrictive new laws on ghost guns.
Ghost Gun Grab
Biden’s latest move against our gun rights comes as he brings out his ghost gun restrictions. The supposed point of this is to stop unmarked guns from trading hands, a problem that has contributed to gun violence and helped arm criminals.
At the same time, Biden will also be appointing Steve Dettelbach to head up the ATF. Dettelbach is a smart lawyer who currently serves as the US Attorney for the northern district of Ohio.
He went to Harvard and made a name for himself defending underpaid foreign garment workers from exploitation and pursuing an idealistic career.
Dettelbach is a fairly smart choice for Biden and the left, in fact, because he is able to cloak his anti-gun extremism in legal language and euphemisms.
Though make no mistake, his heading up of the ATF will be used to pursue exactly the same kind of fanatical gun control agenda as David Chipman would have pursued if his nomination hadn’t been beaten down.
As for the ghost gun restrictions, the far left is getting very excited about them…

Anti-Gun Activists Cheer on New Rules
One of those who is cheering on the upcoming ghost gun restrictions is radical leftist David Hogg. As many gun-rights supporters may recall, Hogg used the horrific Parkland shooting at his high school as a platform to attack gun rights.
Hogg says he will be attending the announcement today on the ghost gun restrictions, which have been under discussion for a number of months.
Leaked details of what will be put into law include the following:
The legal definition of a receiver (also known as a frame) will be updated. This is so the federal government has more power to seize and regulate the trading and production of independent parts of ghost guns and require them to have serial numbers to be legal.
According to Biden, the new rules will stop criminals from getting ghost guns, increase security at the point of purchase and let law enforcement be able to trace guns back to their original points of origin.
Specifically, the new rules will require that receivers have their own serial number and also that any 3D printer-made weapons have serial numbers added.

The White House is also announcing its finalized rule on ghost guns.

The Bottom Line
Gun violence is definitely a problem in America, but the reason is that crime is a problem in America. The left can’t be soft on crime and hard on guns, ghost, or otherwise.
It’s time to get real.
