The left isn’t in the habit of trying to ram through gun control directly anymore.
Instead, they hide it in giant bills that are for completely different issues and then try to bully conservatives. The basic tactic is to say conservatives don’t support a given important issue if they don’t vote for a bill, while knowing full well the bill is full of anti-American policies.
Unfortunately, there are a number of Republicans who are more than willing to fall for this tactic in return for getting respect. They don’t realize that respect and bipartisan clout are just fake anyway.
Meet the Anti-Gun Republicans
In the early morning this week, the House put forward two massive bills that included the Violence Against Women Act (VAWA) and the NICS Denial Notification Act.
These both have red flag gun control provisions in them that should alarm any patriot, but they easily passed the House, along with 39 GOP votes and the Democrat bloc in favor.
It then went on to the Senate, where this bill should have been up for debate and amended. However, it was good enough for 19 Republican senators who voted for it and made sure it passed into law.
The Democrats were missing one of their ranks and if the GOP had all voted against this bill together, they could have stopped it.
Yet, thanks to a number of turncoat RINOs, including Lindsay Graham of South Carolina, Mitch McConnell of Kentucky, and Rob Portman of Ohio, our gun rights just shrank even more.

Why Did This Happen?
Gun rights supporters have warned about things like this for a number of years, but the RINOs have been working day and night to trade away gun rights for other favors.
The left put VAWA together into a huge bill that basically had to pass in order to force prominent Republicans to vote for it or be responsible for shutting down the country.
This kind of political blackmail is par for the course when it comes to the left, but it’s still sick to see so many gun rights taken away in just two days.
Gun rights activists managed to get a few of the worst parts out of these bills, but there’s still plenty to be worried about.

Red Flag Laws
The main worry here is the red flag laws in VAWA, as well as the boyfriend loophole (Lautenberg clause), which allows guns to be taken from anyone accused of domestic violence.
The NCIS section also creates huge issues because it leads to getting turned down on background checks and 90% of the time, it’s an error. These are all just ways to punish legal gun owners and will do nothing to stop armed criminals.
More obstacles for gun owners: welcome to Joe Biden’s America.
