It’s important when looking at gun violence and gun rights in the United States to put facts first. Law and order are vital to a working republic and police must be respected.
At the same time, there are situations where the actions of certain police members are completely unacceptable and lawless.
The latest example comes out of the city of Minneapolis. This city is already infamous for being the spark that lit the fire of the 2019 nationwide BLM protests after the death of George Floyd.
However, the latest police incident out of Minneapolis is even worse than the death of Floyd. Here’s what happened…
No-Knock Raid Costs Young Man His Life
Minneapolis police were executing a no-knock warrant recently when they shot and killed an innocent man. Video shows the officers opening the apartment door with a key without knocking.
They then storm inside the apartment, shouting for a sleeping man on the sofa to get down. The individual on the sofa was 22-year-old Amir Locke, a legal gun owner sleeping in his own residence.
He was not wanted by police and the raid was not even on the right location. As a legal gun owner, Locke had his weapon next to him.
When police kicked the couch, he quickly reached over for the gun in confusion, likely wondering what was going on. He did not raise the gun to police, but held it in his hands.
Police opened fire with a series of rapid rounds, striking Locke fatally.

Details Come Out About Locke Shooting
Locke’s family has been out peacefully protesting. More details are emerging about this tragic shooting. Locke had his carry license and hadn’t committed a crime.
Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey claimed no-knock raids wouldn’t be happening anymore in his city, yet here we are.
At least the body cam shows us what really happened. Now, Frey is saying once again no-knock raids won’t be happening anymore, but why should we believe him this time?
Also, who is going to pay for the murder of Locke?
While left wingers were mocking @RandPaul and cheering on his vicious assault, he introduced the Breonna Taylor act that would have banned no knock raids and saved Amir Locke’s life.

Locke’s Parents Say He Was ‘Executed’
Locke’s parents are saying he was executed.
Judging from the footage of the SWAT raid, it certainly looks that way. This young man was planning to start his own music company. He was also planning to move to Dallas, Texas where he wanted to become a hip-hop star.
There was nothing he did that warranted murdering him. He had no criminal record and had a concealed carry permit. He was a driver for a food delivery company and had the gun because he delivered orders in some dangerous areas of Minneapolis and St. Paul.
Now, a young man’s life has been cut short for a mistake. There’s absolutely no excuse for this. Below is the bodycam footing of the shooting that’s been released so far. Viewer discretion is advised.
