The left never rests in its mission to disarm the American people. That’s a threat we take very seriously at The Arms Guide.
However, we also strive to tell you the good news when it comes along. A look back at 2021 shows a year that actually had quite a bit of positive news come up for our Second Amendment.
Here are the top five pieces of good news for gun owners in 2021.
5. The stupidity of gun control is being exposed
Blue states have the highest murder rates in a century; cities like Philadelphia, LA, New York, and Chicago are becoming worse than warzones.
While California has dealt with the rise in crime by legalizing shoplifting (and places like Baltimore have simply stopped prosecuting drug crime and theft), other states haven’t been able to hide from the truth.
The truth is the states with the least guns have the most crime. Likewise, another inconvenient truth is people see how cracking down on the gun rights of law-abiding Americans doesn’t stop crime; it actually increases crime.
Let’s be honest: unarmed people make easy targets for crime. We all knew it: know we’re seeing daily proof.
4. Gun rights are being recognized as human rights
As people are realizing gun control is a bad idea, they’re also realizing gun rights are human rights.
Every time you tell ordinary people they can’t defend themselves, you are telling them they don’t deserve the same protection you would want if you were in danger. It’s an evil thing to say, and only elites with lots of bodyguards, stupid people, and evil people say it.
More and more people are realizing that.
3. Not all the ammo is drying up
Despite Biden’s cancellation of the import of Russian ammo, the ammo crisis so far is not as bad as some people expected. There are still plenty of other sources of ammo, and people are staying as optimistic as possible.
Who knows what crates Santa will have under the tree this year…
2. Red states are protecting 2A
Red states from Oklahoma to Florida are making laws to create 2A sanctuary laws.
These ensure that no state official ever enforces an anti-2A law put forward by leftist politicians at the federal level. Protecting our gun rights at the state level is a crucial step forward in keeping our Constitution out of the paper shredder.
1. America is arming itself
There have been more than 18 million guns sold so far in 2021 and a number of them were sold to first-time buyers.
In fact, between January 2020 and April 2021, there have been five million first-time gun buyers. That’s a serious uptick in first-time buyers deciding to exercise their rights as Americans!
America is arming itself. This is good news for all of us, because an armed America is a free America.
