Missouri isn’t called the Show Me State for nothing. They get things done and they know our Second Amendment is non-negotiable. This past spring, Missouri put in place laws to make sure that any federal crackdown on our 2A rights doesn’t apply in their state.
Under Governor Mike Parson, Missouri simply won’t allow red flag gun grabs or any other nonsense to take place within MO borders.
If you want to try blue state communist tricks, you’ll have to go elsewhere, because Missouri isn’t open for business to accept the Biden regime’s lies, propaganda, and bullying.
The law Missouri put through is called SAPA, which stands for the Second Amendment Preservation Act. It orders all state bodies to refuse to follow federal orders that infringe on 2A. Doing so is a direct violation of Missouri state law and results in a $50,000 fine.
In other words, if you work as a police officer or state law enforcement person in Missouri and you decide Biden’s gun grabs and ATF directives to seize weapons apply in the state, you will get hit with massive fines.
Parson made it clear after he put SAPA through this summer the 2A is something he will “always” support and stand behind. Any attempt to break state law and put unconstitutional federal orders over state law will result in very severe consequences.
As I said, the 2A is not up for negotiation or compromise in any way.
Missouri’s new 2A protection law flies in the face of the supremacy clause in the constitution and has another crafty implementation tactic meant to subvert the judiciary. Weird flex from the law and order and “constitutionalist” party. #gunsense https://t.co/wSqSuCity2

The Leftist Media Goes Insane
The leftist media, including shows like 60 Minutes on CBS, have gone insane since Missouri made this law. They found people who don’t like it and gave them a spotlight to whine and complain.
The basic message they’re saying is it cuts off channels of communication between local law enforcement and federal counterparts to crack down on violent criminals. Quite frankly, that’s a fair point…and criminals should be dealt with severely, quickly, and fully.
However, the fact of the matter is the federal government should not be cutting into the Second Amendment in the first place. If states want to have a better relationship with the feds, they should keep pressuring our national institutions to stop allowing insane leftists to curtail gun rights.
“What this bill does is impact a local law enforcement officer's ability to do their job,” says a Missouri prosecutor about the state’s new gun law: the Second Amendment Preservation Act. https://t.co/PVZK0FT7YZ pic.twitter.com/jZ5xwEVdvh

2A Isn’t Up for Negotiation
Missouri’s law has some kinks to be ironed out, no doubt. However, it still points to the same reality as every other state that has a problem with gun violence. The issue isn’t the guns, it’s the criminals.
Gun rights need to be expanded, and law enforcement’s ability to catch, prosecute, and punish criminals also needs to be expanded. Both are true, both are crucial, and both need to be a priority for our federal and state governments.
