Alec Baldwin is a liberal actor who’s famous for being on a show called 30 Rock and for his mockery of President Trump on Saturday Night Live. He’s also a pretty big advocate of gun control and talking about the danger of guns.
Baldwin got a taste of the worst kind of thing that can happen to someone on Thursday on the set of his new film Rust. The movie is a Western film that involves shooting scenes and Baldwin was using a prop gun.
What happened next has stunned the world and ruined Baldwin’s life. It’s questionable whether he’ll ever even be able to show his face in public again after what happened. There is also a chance he’ll be spending time behind bars.
During filming of Rust in New Mexico, Baldwin was firing a prop gun. It’s unclear how it happened, but for some reason, the prop gun fired out a real projectile of some kind, striking two people. For some reason, it hit 42-year-old director of photography Halyna Hutchins and the director, Joel Souza.
Hutchins tragically died while being airlifted to the hospital, while Souza is in serious condition. This was one of Hutchins’ first breaks in Hollywood and she’d worked so hard to get there.
Friends and coworkers are absolutely stunned she is now dead because of Baldwin firing the gun. They were filming in the desert and it’s completely unclear why a prop gun could kill someone.
The police are investigating what happened and how a prop gun managed to fire something that could kill a person. Baldwin was crying on the side of the road and is apparently devastated. It’s possible he could face manslaughter charges, although that’s unlikely.
Baldwin lost any right to whine at Americans about gun safety and the Second Amendment ever again
Alec Baldwin just lost the privilege to lecture Americans about guns or the Second Amendment ever again.

How Did This Happen?
The scene was taking place near Santa Fe on a ranch. Hutchins’ death rocked the whole crew and Souza was in serious condition, but has been let out. Baldwin was interrogated by police.
He has not been charged at this point, but authorities still want to know what happened and why. Prop guns are not supposed to have rounds in them. They are blanks. For all its anti-gun nonsense, Hollywood has a strange habit of making mistakes, even with fake guns.
An actor called John Hexum shot himself with a .44 Magnum round in the 1980s on a prop gun, somehow. He eventually died from his injuries, while son of Bruce Lee, Brandon Lee, got killed by a .44 on the set of the Crow.
This happened after the idiotic crew mistakenly loaded real bullets in the prop gun without understanding how it worked. Did that happen again here? Was somebody setting Baldwin up? Time will tell. Rest in peace, Halyna Hutchins.
