The restaurant industry can be a stressful place to work. Between crowded tables and demanding customers, the complaints can get loud and waiters and waitresses can get angry. However, the stress was taken to a whole new level several days ago in Atlanta. A Waffle House server pulled her gun on a customer after they got in an argument about his order.
Here’s What Happened
A customer by the name of Candy Franklin ordered cheese eggs. This man named Candy really wanted his cheese eggs, not any other kind of eggs. However, the waitress, a young woman by the name of Angelica, brought him regular eggs instead.
Candy wasn’t very impressed by this and asked for his cheese eggs. The waitress wasn’t happy about the ongoing misunderstanding and brought out his order. Yet, while he was checking it was correct, Candy heard people yelling and running.
He looked up to see what the fuss was and saw a handgun pointed in his face. Then, Angelica cocked it and Candy split, running as fast as he could for the door. Having recently had his brother killed in a gunfight, the last thing he wanted to do was become another statistic.

Angelica Tells Her Side of the Story
The waitress Angelica Patterson said what happened is not what Candy said. According to her, Candy kept complaining about his order repeatedly; she fixed it multiple times, but he still kept making trouble.
She was feeling stressed and went out back for a cigarette; at this point, she claims Candy came out to harass her and blame her even more for things he didn’t like about his food.
Waffle House is currently looking into what happened. It’s unclear what charges are pending against Angelica at this time; yet, Candy says he was worried she’d shoot him dead. Atlanta police are also investigating what happened.

The Bottom Line
The bottom line here is you have to be very careful who you give a gun to. Candy said he doesn’t want to see Angelica in jail, but he does want her to be held “accountable” for what she did to him.
Whatever drove a waitress to the point of pulling a gun on a customer who annoyed her, it’s clear she’s not a very mentally stable individual. Therefore, she probably shouldn’t be owning a firearm.
Concealed carry is a constitutional right, but it’s also crucial to realize pulling your gun in every tense situation that occurs is extremely stupid. It also just gives more ground to the leftist arguments for gun control.
In the meantime, make sure to always leave a nice tip and not annoy your waitress too much or you never know what could happen.
