It won’t come as a surprise to anyone that the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms is corrupt. After all, we’ve known that for decades. What will be more surprising, to some, is just the sheer scale of the corruption, fraud, and abuse going on at this bloated federal agency.
Our taxpayer dollars aren’t just being wasted; they’re being flushed down an industrial sewer at turbo speed. We might as well just call it the Agency of Taxpayer Fraud (ATF).
For once, we have the good fortune that this news comes from our mainstream media at CBS. Apparently, they got bored of fake news and decided to throw in one real investigation. The results are very damning, to say the least.
Huge Exposure of Fraud at ATF From Insider
The CBS investigation found a man who worked in the ATF’s human resources section and uncovered huge issues with their salary system. The fraud he saw shocked him so much he felt he had to come forward.
Being a whistleblower is no walk in the park, especially when you’re standing up against a powerful federal agency; so you can bet there’s real corruption and incompetence going on at the ATF.
According to this whistleblower, the main fraud he uncovered is around Law Enforcement Availability Pay (known as LEAP). LEAP is an extra bonus you can qualify for if you are an investigator who has to work overtime unexpectedly sometimes.
However, as this whistleblower found, LEAP pay was being handed out to people in office jobs at the ATF who were not investigators working on cases; it was also given to people who were not on call or expected to work overtime.
In other words, he found that desk drones at the ATF were having their salaries padded fraudulently with LEAP pay and getting 25% pay hikes on the taxpayer dime. This is disgusting fraud.
Well shouldn't the atf be shut down until some sort of corruption investigation is conducted?

Stealing Taxpayer Money
Stealing taxpayer money is basically what the government does on a daily basis anyway. However, this is on a much larger scale. A review of the ATF found this overpay went to a minimum of 94 workers who shouldn’t have been getting LEAP, but did get LEAP anyway.
That’s outright fraud and it’s not an insignificant amount of money; in fact, if you add it up, it could objectively total in the hundreds of millions in money funneled out of taxpayer pockets into bloated ATF salaries.
With Biden’s $3.5 trillion big spending deal on the horizon, what’s a few hundred million? Well, I’m guessing that for anyone reading this, a few hundred million would go a long way. So how about we get serious about rooting out this abuse and hold the ATF responsible for its corruption finally?
Fraud and corruption at the ATF? Millions of tax payer dollars wasted with no accountability? Agents giving themselves $millions in "bonuses" they didn't deserved (that's really just a form of stealing taxpayer money)?
When can we expect to hear about operation Fast & Furious 2? https://t.co/EowJWu3hM2 pic.twitter.com/d8guGpSw2S
