Josh Marshall is a liberal journalist with a brain the size of a pea.
For that reason you can already predict his personality and viewpoints; he thinks he’s the smartest thing since sliced bread and is an arrogant, annoying, know-it-all clown.
During the runup to the 2016 election, he posted a porn link on his Twitter by mistake. Yet, in the last few years he’s been focused on doing what all brave liberal journalists seem to do:
Believe the exact same things as every other liberal journalist and whine about Trump, conservatives and guns.
However, Marshall’s latest social media post has some even on his own side questioning whether this guy is losing his edge.
Just to remind everyone, the individual right to own and use firearms is completely made up and the product of NRA funded activism.

Seriously?
Marshall claimed that the idea Americans have a right to gun ownership is “made up.” He seriously said that.
This guy may be a joke, but he is a leading and famous liberal journalist. That’s what he actually believes: that 2A is not what any of us think it is.
He believes the right to own guns is just NRA propaganda.
If you call the Founding Fathers NRA members – which I guess in a way they were the NRA before the NRA – then maybe you’re right, Josh.
That propaganda is called America and as far as the right to keep and bear arms….you should try it sometime.
Marshall Gets Called Out
People who actually know about guns weren’t about to let Marshall get away with his stunning ignorance.
One example was Reload editor Stephen Gutowski. He called Marshall’s words “incredibly lazy” and said it was an example of the “gaslighting” that leftists use to try to undermine the Second Amendment.
Basically, Marshall is saying that the Founding Fathers only meant you can store guns temporarily and bear them if your militia is called up. It’s an idiotic statement with no proof and everyone knows it.
However, liberals clapped along to Marshall of course, acting like his beliefs are obvious and true.
This all strikes me as incredibly lazy more than anything else. It's intended to get claps from those who already uncritically agree with you. It's certainly not going to persuade anyone else.

The Truth About 2A
The truth is that the Second Amendment does have some complexity around gun usage and ownership that different legal scholars debate on the right and left.
Nevertheless, the idea that it doesn’t mean you can even own guns at all is…insanely stupid and incorrect.
Nobody who knows anything about the 2A (or has studied it for more than five minutes) actually thinks that is correct.
As Gutowski and National Review writer David Harsanyi observed, leftists like Marshall only care about the outcome of restricting and demonizing guns.
That’s why sometimes they say things that all of us who still have a brain look at and can’t decide whether to laugh or believe their account was hacked.
Seriously, Marshall? My advice to you is that you don’t write a single word on guns until you go learn some very basics about what you’re talking about.
Josh Marshall is an idiot!
This kind of “redefining” the words of our Constitution is exactly why the Supreme Court staffing is so critically important. We can’t let the liberal left load the Supreme Court with activist judges or our Constitution and Constitutional rights will be lost and even forgotten as soon as they get written out of the history books.
It’s a free country mate, he can not have Guns if it makes him feel safer!
Come and take it marshall ,clown
In Heller v. D.C., nine out of nine Supreme Court justices agreed that the Second Amendment guarantees an INDIVIDUAL right to keep and to bear arms. In other words, “the People” means just that, and NOT “the States.” Where the justices parted company was as to the question as to whether that was a general individual right or a right that could be exercised only in connection with service in the militia. The former interpretation prevailed. To simplify a lengthy decision, the militia is the People. Obviously, the People would not form a very effective militia without arms, so therefore, the right of the People to keep and to bear arms “shall not be infringed.” More fundamentally, the right pre-existed the Constitution and the Bill of Rights; the Bill of Rights does not grant a right to keep and bear, it simply guarantees that pre-exising right. “Shall not be infringed” means, quite directly, that the Federal Government is without power to limit (infringe) that pre-existing right.
It’s been said before but Josh Marshal personifies the adage: No amount of fact or logic will ever change an idiot’s mind. Mr. Marshall, read the Constitution.
Obviously a recent college grad!!
