Pistol Tips Part III with Haley Strategic

FNS 9L

November 18, 2016 by Rick Dembroski Leave a Comment

In this weeks Pistol Tips Part III,  Travis and Nate break down a basic principal in pistol shooting, The Stance. Building the proper shooting stance wether you are shooting a rifle or a pistol is a key component in being able to shoot accurately and with confidence. The stance is the base around which the rest of the shooting fundamentals revolve. A weak or unstable stance or base of operations easily transfers up wards through the rest of the shooters body and will negatively impact performance.

Travis and Nate from Haley Strategic lay out the basics of positions, posture and shooting fundamentals. This series and others by top trainers such as Travis Haley of Haley Strategic and Adam Painchaud of Sig Academy, to name a few will be presented on a more regular basis here. Our goal is to try to bring you relevant and simple videos from vetted shooting instructors without the bravado. We are starting with trying to find pistol videos first, but intend to also look for material on rifle and shotgun manipulation and drills you can do at home or on the range.

If you like this type of content or feel you have something to contribute as well, reach out to us via Facebook or in the comments section. We are always looking for new writers and talent, so sit back and give yourself 2:08 to watch this short video, you never know when you may learn something.
